WHAT IS THE ARTIST NETWORK?

The artist network sprang from the artist mixers at the bookstore.  Most of
the artists listed in the network are from the Warwick Valley. We plan on
developing the network, so that each artist has a page, hoping to capture
them in video, with something about them and a link to their website. The Artist Network also may develop into an events calendar for the artists, so that artists can let the public know what they are up to. 

As we are determining the kind of art shows we want to produce, I go to the network to locate the talents we will draw from (besides the process of seeking submissions).  I see it as growing , as a way to strengthen ourselves as a community of artists, to identify us further - to the outside.  Individual
artists will be challenged to get people to go to their website - so I see
this like a gallery of local artists, where the artists can be more easily found and discovered through the synergy of a group.
